About Diganta
My name is Diganta Das and I am a television journalist by profession. I am a Spinal Injury Category (C4-5) patient which was due to an accident in 2010. During my treatment I could see the trauma, neglect and pathetic condition of people with physical disabilities. The rich had resources but what about the lower section of the society? It pained me a lot. And once I could stand from my hospital bed I wasted no time and started a Physiotherapy Clinic with whatever resources I had and with the help of well-wishers. I also operate a unit for Children with special abilities (autism, cerebral palsy and other issues) where they come for treatment.
